Featured Theft Recovery - Trailer
While in Mexico, a FIN® GPS Security customer received alert that his work trailer was being moved. After contacting an employee in California, it was determined that the company truck, along with trailer, were stolen. The customer contacted FIN® GPS Security who immediately began monitoring the location and movement history of the stolen trailer.
With the customer in Mexico at the time of theft, the FIN® recovery team was given permission to work with his employee. The FIN® recovery team provided the location of the trailer and explained to the customer’s employee how to use key features on the FIN® app, such as the “Find It Now” feature.
The employee immediately contacted local authorities and relayed this valuable information. Along with the customer, the FIN® recovery team continued to track and monitor the trailer while authorities made their way to the location. The authorities arrived and recovered the trailer which was hooked up to another stolen truck among other stolen vehicles. The customer’s truck was later found a few blocks away. No arrests were made as there were no individuals at the scene of recovery, however the case remains ongoing.
