Featured Theft Recovery - Sport Motorcycles
BROWARD COUNTY, FL – Immediately after receiving notice of a stolen 2017 Suzuki GSX-R 750 supersport in Orlando, FL, a Find It Now theft recovery expert was able to locate and continuously track the stolen motorcycle.
Utilizing the FIN GPS Security device that was installed at the time of motorcycle purchase, FIN was able to communicate and share location information directly with the Orange County police department, eventually changing jurisdictions to Miami Gardens. Using a preset threshold, speeds of 155MPH were recorded on Florida’s Turnpike in Port St. Lucie and 93MPH near West Palm Beach.
The stolen GSX-R eventually stopped moving. Shortly after police arrived at a residential trailer in Miami Gardens, an occupant of the trailer came outside to speak with responding officers. During the conversation, it was noticed that the motorcycle was being moved from the initial trailer, through the backyard, to a different trailer on the same block. After receiving notice of movement from FIN, the officers immediately went to the second trailer to find and recover the stolen Suzuki.
The successful recovery is attributed to the Find It Now GPS Security device and staff, excellent covert installation, and an expedient and professional response from the Orange County and Miami Gardens police departments.
